The Henry Stickmin games started as Flash animations where you picked an option and watched a stick figure fail spectacularly. That was the whole joke, and it was a good enough joke to run for over a decade and end in a full commercial release.

Failing is the content. You choose the teleporter, you choose the bazooka, you choose the plan that could not possibly work, and the game rewards you with an elaborate animated disaster and a title card. Success is almost beside the point - most players deliberately picked the worst option first.

Completing the Mission pulled it together properly, branching into six endings and dozens of paths depending on choices made across the earlier games. Innersloth went on to make Among Us, which is a strange career trajectory for a studio whose first hit was drawn in stick figures.

Charles Calvin's helicopter and unshakable optimism deserve particular mention, as does Ellie Rose, who is significantly more competent than Henry has any right to expect.
