Brawlhalla's pitch is straightforward: a free platform fighter where warriors from every era of history brawl forever in Valhalla, because Odin got bored. It's a setting that exists purely to justify a Viking fighting a space pirate, and that's exactly the right amount of explanation.

Mechanically it sits in the space Smash Bros. defined and then refines the details. Every legend carries two weapons and swaps between them mid-fight, so learning a character means learning both movesets and when to trade one for the other. Add the dodge system and you get a game that's easy to start and genuinely deep once you commit.

Being free-to-play with a rotating legend roster helped it build a real competitive scene. Blue Mammoth kept adding characters - some original, some crossovers that had no business working - and the community stayed.

This collection pulls from the legends and their signature weapons: hammers, blasters, spears, axes and swords, drawn in the game's clean, punchy style.
