Collection Infinity Train

Infinity Train is one of the best-written animated series of recent years and it never quite got the audience it deserved. Each season follows a different passenger on an endless train where every car is its own impossible world, and the number glowing on your hand goes down as you deal with whatever put you there.

That number is the whole design. It's not a score and it's not a countdown to escape in the way you'd expect - it tracks how far someone is from resolving something, and the show is careful to make it not simply about being nicer.

Owen Dennis structured it as an anthology, which was commercially risky and creatively excellent. Each season can be genuinely different in tone, and the third one is bleak in a way that Cartoon Network almost certainly did not expect.

Atticus, a talking corgi king, is the best character in season one and it is not close.
