Collection Kleptocats

Kleptocats has one of the more honest premises in mobile gaming: you have cats, the cats leave, and the cats come back with stolen objects. You do not ask where the objects came from. You put them in your room.

It's an idle collection game and a very well-judged one. Pet the cat, wait, receive an item, unlock a new room, repeat. The hook isn't difficulty - it's the small pleasure of a growing shelf of nonsense and the slightly unsettling implication that these animals are running a burglary operation on your behalf.

HyperBeard's art is what elevates it. The cats are round, expressive and drawn with a lot of personality despite barely animating, and the item descriptions carry a dry humour that occasionally veers somewhere darker than expected.

KleptoDogs followed with the same idea and a more chaotic energy, because of course dogs would be worse at this.

This collection covers both crews - Chester, Guapo, Cotton, Dots and the rest. Cute, round, and probably guilty.
